One Million of Us

This is the first of my five five foot by five foot paintings. Here I experimented with new ways of mixing paint and creating texture. I enjoyed the artmaking process, creating layered effects and stumbling upon interesting shapes and colors. It’s here that the misshapen white circle became a symbol for the spirit or the heart of a person in my work.
